PIAB Suction Cups
Suction cups provide an easy, inexpensive, and — above all — reliable solution for moving different products and materials; fragile, awkward, compact, or porous objects with flat, spherical, angled, curved or uneven surfaces. PIAB Vacuum Filters
Plastic filters (shown) are made of durable injection molded nylon and polycarbonate with a clear sump/opaque head and feature 150 psi design pressure. Metal filters are of a rugged carbon steel construction with an enamel coating. Features include a clamp-on cover with an easily removed filter element and a positive seal buna gasket. PIAB also offers easily removed replacement elements featuring a polyethylene 10-micron material for the plastic filters. For the metal filters, a polyester felt 10-micron paper element with a metal end is standard.

PIAB Vacuum Switches
There are three different types of vacuum switches: electric, pneumatic and electronic. All of the new switches feature an improved operating range of 1.5”Hg. to 28.5” Hg. It is now possible to place the switches in stacks with their 0.63” (16 mm) width. The switches are dust-proof and have a very low weight. The switches can be connected either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). The electronic switches have a long lifetime and can be connected directly to a PLC unit (the PNP model) or the switches can directly regulate a valve (the NPN model).
