A “Unitary Piston,” also referred to as a wobble piston (Gast ROC-R or Thomas WOB-L), uses a one-piece (unitary) piston and connecting rod. A Teflon based flexible piston “Seal” mated to a hard coat anodized thin-walled aluminum cylinder yield long service-free life, 8,000+ hours for AC powered units. Unitary Piston Technology Products may be used to compress air to 100+ PSIG and draw vacuum down to 27” Hg. Sound level is in the low 60’s dB(A). They are versatile and satisfy a wide variety of applications.
